How to introduce this article? I really like drawing and comics, but I draw very badly. Even though as a kid I drew little comics, they were all ugly. Then one day, life meant I got to work in comics and publishing, and my passion for drawing became even stronger.
Drawing is still part of my daily life through comics, obviously, but also through this slightly silly idea I had one day, of asking people to draw me pictures for my birthdays. It's the only gift I ask for. So, among all the drawings people have made for me, some drew me. I like the idea of gathering everything in a single article :). I'm surely forgetting quite a few. Some comic artists have drawn me on various occasions: Angoulême, signings, blog posts, and others, but sadly I can't find them all.

Gally is one of my favorite illustrators, and I love it when she draws me. On the first drawing, it's a drawing of me and Rubben, on the second, she just casually slipped me into her comic "Sale Morveuse."

Perrine has drawn me several times, but she mostly featured me in the comic project "Ménage à 3," which told the story of our publishing house "Diantre!" We were all drawn as penguins, no need for me to explain why.

Yes yes, Michel Gondry, the director. Pretty cool, huh? A few years ago he launched an artistic project around drawing, and his idea was to draw the people who sent in their photos between such-and-such dates. It took years for me to receive mine, but I love it 🙂
